Sometimes as a photographer you see things that break your heart, but also strengthen your soul. From where I stood to take this picture, had I been in that spot the night Katrina made landfall 25 feet of water would have been over my head. Yet what caught my eye is something I didn't expect. Damage and all, that building was still apparently being used providing comfort and strength in a time of need.

Damage and all, that building was still apparently being used providing comfort and strength in a time of need.
